ReplyDelete1.Auggie compares himself to the Earth’s magnetic North Pole because when he was at the science fair, everybody’s eyes were pointed at him like a compass to the North Pole.
2.Yes, I do think Auggie felt different about the hearing aids after the doctor turned them on.
3.Auggie expected everybody to make fun of them, when actually nobody bothered him about them.
4.Auggie got really upset because he knew the reason why Via didn’t want them to go to the play. He knew it was because of him, and they were lying about it to him.
5.Mom means that even without seeing, you can still feel affection for somebody.
6.Yes, I do agree that the universe was not kind to Auggie. I think so because he was born with his face all messed up. Therefore, he is always getting bullied by people because his face wasn’t normal. You have to admit, that’s not very kind. Also, because he was deformed, he’s needed to go through countless surgeries.
