ReplyDelete1.Summer responds with “Because he’s a nice kid! And don’t call him that.”
2.The plague was a dumb “game” people at the school were playing since the beginning of the school year where if they touches August, they only had 30 seconds to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before they caught “the plague”.
3.Summer couldn’t be upset for long because Auggie told her about what happened to him on Halloween.
4.Summer’s mother was shocked at Auggie’s appearance and made a weirded-out face.
5.August and Summer dressed up as mummies for the Egyptian museum.
6.I think it was right for Summer to whisper “bleeding scream” in Jack’s ear. My first reason for thinking this is that this phrase somewhat hints at why Auggie was mad at Jack without telling him enough to make it easy to tell. My second reason is that I think telling Jack something was good so he could figure out why Auggie was mad at him so he could apologize or make it better. My last reason is that overall, “bleeding scream” was a good hint because I’m sure that Jack had seen Auggie at that party but without knowing it was him. That is why I think it was right for Summer to whisper that to Jack.
Good Job! I would just remind you to re-read your answers to make sure they make sense. However overall very good job.
