    1.Auggie drew himself as a duck because he just thought he looked like a duck. This made Mr. Tushman laugh because he thought there was a deeper meaning.
    2.Mr. Browne’s last precept was “Just follow the day and reach for the sun!”
    3.The line Always be a little kinder than necessary means that you should always be as kind as you can, not just as much as you think you should be.
    4.Mr. Tushman thinks that everybody should make it a rule that wherever you are, whenever you can, you will try to act a little kinder than necessary to make the world a better place.
    5.I do think Auggie deserved the award. I think so because he was always kind, he was a good kid always, and he made the school itself a better place.
    6.Auggie’s mom thanked Auggie for being himself.
    7.I think Auggie’s mom meant that he was so different and extraordinary by saying he truly is a wonder.
